My style focuses on natural-light, environmental portraits, which features the relation of my subject/s to their environments. I care about creating a personalized experience that speaks to and about you. This means that every photo-shoot will include a free consultation to get to know you, and I will try to make sure your photographs shows who my subject is. This could translate into a graduation photo that includes your son or daughter sharing their favorite hobby with me, a family building a blanket fort together, or you sharing your best LARP outfit!
This also tends to create a more genuine experience, with less posed expressions. It underlines my focus in creating a stress-free environment. Most people I have worked with tell me before-hand that they usually feel awkward or are “unphotogenic”, but are quickly put at ease with this style of photography. While I will help guide you to help create the best photographs possible, there will be less posing and holding forced smiles, and more fun!
